The manufacturer Atomos presents the new AtomX Ethernet / NDI module for the monitor / recorder Ninja V.
The device allows to transmit live video in transmission quality over IP networks. It makes it possible for small cameras and devices with HDMI equipment to integrate into productions with NewTek’s NDI ecosystem. Broadcasters have an easy way to enhance the look of their live shows.
NewTek has been developing NDI for many years and now Atomos is proud to offer its customers the benefits of the Ethernet Video Revolution. Newtek NDI technology enables easy installation and control of multi-camera networks. The module supports NDI I / O from cameras and HDMI or SDI devices up to 4Kp60 and HDp240 – scaled down to HDp60 or lower. It replaces the traditional SDI cabling. The AtomX Ethernet / NDI module has NDI inputs and outputs with encoding, decoding, control, and synchronization. This allows Ninja V users to transmit, distribute or receive and monitor NDI from any NDI source. A low latency of video and audio allows uncomplicated production, whether live or staged. Simply turn on the Ninja V with AtomX Ethernet / NDI module, insert a network cable, the source automatically detects the NDI network for production.
In essence, the Ninja V with AtomX Ethernet / NDI module is a simple bridge between any HDMI source and an NDI network. Furthermore, the module is an amazing professional monitor for perfect exposure and focusing.
The AtomX Ethernet / NDI module will be available at the end of 2018 at a suggested retail price of $ 199.
